Job Description
- Responsible to understand customer requirements, work with the internal technology teams to design solutions to address those requirements.
- Present solutions to customers to obtain technical buy-in, estimate the bill of material and level of effort in terms of services and compile technical proposals
- Provide Pre-Sales activity, technical support, consultation and Presents the technical solution.
- Responsible to work with vendor pre-sales teams to arrive at the best possible alternative amongst possible solutions.
- Responsible to identify the right vendors for a technology.
- Securing needed commitments from client’s technical staff to ensure that deal is “technically” closed
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Communication Engineering or equivalent.
- 3-5 years of Pre-sales experience in in Active Networking (Cisco, HP…etc.)
- Experience in Wireless Networking
- Generate technical Scopes of Work (SOW), Technical write-up, Bill of Materials (BOMs) and detailed design diagrams.
- Manage network infrastructure including routers, switches, (configuration & troubleshooting)
- Implementing LAN technologies (WLAN, VLAN, VTP, inter-VLAN routing, HSRP,)
- Work directly with customers to provide hands-on support.
- Customer Focused with a strong track record in placing customer needs.
- CCNA,CCNP Certified is a Plus
- Good knowledge in Passive Network Infrastructure (Fiber Optics, GPON,…etc.) is a plus
- Experience in Auto-CAD or Micro soft Visio to review, edit and generate any required design drawings.
