Job Description
The Architectural Technical Office Engineer is responsible for preparing, reviewing, and coordinating architectural drawings, shop drawings, concrete dimensions for concrete slabs and specifications to ensure accuracy, compliance with design intent, and alignment with project requirements. This role supports project execution through technical analysis, documentation, and coordination with stakeholders including design teams, consultants, site engineers, and contractors.
- Prepare and review architectural shop drawings and as-built drawings.
- Coordinate with structural, mechanical, and electrical teams to resolve design conflicts.
- Ensure compliance with local codes, regulations, and project specifications.
- Assist in preparing technical submittals, RFIs, and method statements.
- Conduct quantity take-offs and assist in preparing BOQs.
- Monitor drawing revisions and manage drawing logs.
- Participate in site inspections and provide technical support as required.
- Support project planning and scheduling through accurate technical documentation.
- Collaborate with procurement teams by providing material specifications and requirements.
- Maintain documentation and records in accordance with company standards.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in architectural or construction technical office work.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other architectural design software.
- Familiarity with BIM workflows is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods and detailing.
- Excellent coordination and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
