Job Description
Works directly with sales department to determine most cost-effective distribution solution for finished goods transportation to customers.
Develops appropriate supply chain strategy to maximize customer satisfaction at the lowest possible cost.
Works with production, warehouse, and logistics departments to determine and set up intercompany transfers.
Oversees shipping process, recommends better alternatives when needed.
Monitors and corrects inventory levels at outside warehouses and internally to ensure rotation and maximize working capital.
Plans & follows up with Procurement, purchasing & logistics.
Coordinates with marketing to identify market’s needs in order to plan purchasing, storing and distribution activities.
Formulate strategic contracts and agreements for procurement and strengthens relationships with strategic suppliers to achieve the highest return.
Approves the annual internal logistics (distribution) and external logistics (freight) to ensures compliance with company’s objectives.
Audits the workflow of the warehouse management and ensures compliance with the relevant standards and policies.
Job Requirements
- Previous experience as a supply chain Supervisor or in a similar field
- Excellent knowledge of supply chain processes
- Strong communication skills
- Attention to detail.
- Creative problem-solving
- Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or similar field
