Job Description

Job purpose: 

You will be the custodian of RYZE's brand, ensuring consistent communication of RYZE vision and values across all channels and that the integrity of the brand is maintained and promoted at all times.

You will be responsible for the planning and execution of all marketing, communications and PR activities as well as partnering with the different departments in the club to plan for and oversee the implementation of all events taking place in the club to boost members’ experience and advocacy.  


Key Responsibilities: 

1. Marketing and Communication: 

  • Prepare the marketing and communications calendar and action plan as per the set strategy
  • Assist in setting the annual budget together with the direct manager
  • Keep track of the budget and ensure the effectiveness of spending
  • Timely deliver on the set plans/activities with the expected quality
  • Build successful relationships with agencies and production houses while constantly assessing their service and ensuring timeliness and quality of deliverables
  • Conduct market research; secondary / primary as necessary to monitor and evaluate similar industry activities and make recommendations based on findings and/or opportunities.
  • Execute the agreed PR agenda for building and maintaining a positive public image of the club through managing the various activities such as press releases, social media messages, newsletters, media relations…etc
  • Work on developing newsletters and/ or press releases either in-house or through a third party
  • Responsible for the planning, execution and controlling of digital marketing activities and tools such as Online, Social Media, Email, Push, influencer partnerships and more to drive and measure customer engagement
  • Organize marketing events/on-ground activations to promote for the brand inside and/or outside the club

2. Vendor’s Management: 

  • Prepare / adjust the scope of work that focuses on successfully achieving RYZE's brand objectives.
  • Develop clear, precise and concise briefs to initiate and efficiently manage projects and tasks with agencies
  • Monitor and follow up with agencies to ensure they are effectively progressing and delivering within the set time frame and criteria
  • Making sure all deliverables are well-reviewed, matching all criteria and including all main messages, quality checked and produced in accordance to the Club’s standards
  • Work closely with the agencies and production houses to produce the needed marketing materials such as printed materials, gifts, sports kits…etc developing content…etc
  • Measure agency performance and how are they meeting all KPIs
  • Work closely with the CX and membership team to support them with all the needed activities and communication with the members and partner with the other different departments in the Club such as Sports, Co-Working Space, RYZE Shop and People and Culture to collect their needs and plan together the annual Marketing and Communications activities calendar
  • Constantly measure the effectiveness of all marketing/communications activities and see to the needed improvements

3. Events: 

  • Set the annual events calendar together with the management team of the different departments
  • Accordingly, set the needed budget
  • Set the plan for each event together with the Events Planner
  • Oversee the execution of these plans and the relationship with the the external stakeholders such as vendors, agencies, production houses…etc
  • Work closely with the Partnership & Sponsorship department to attract or acquire sponsors for these events to maximize the value of these events
  • Keep track of the approved budget
  • Measure the ROI of each event and ensure getting the targeted outcomes

4. Reporting: 

  • Budget
  • ROI of all activities
  • Competition analysis
  • Digital marketing reports

5.Continuous improvement: 

  • Constantly work on creative and innovative initiatives to introduce programs, activities, events…etc to engage our customers and boost their loyalty

Job Requirements

Requirements:

Education and Experience: 

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Marketing and/ or Communications
  • 5+ years of experience in the same position within a corporate environment or in marketing/advertising agencies
  • Certification in IMC and /or in digital marketing is an asset

Skills and knowledge: 

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Results and impact oriented
  • Content writing skill is a plus
  • Excellent planning and coordination skills
  • Project Management skills. (Certification in Project management is a great plus)
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Ability to translate vision and strategies to real on ground activities
  • Close collaboration and engagement with key stakeholders
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
  • Creative thinker
  • Ability to establish solid partnership relationships with external agencies and third parties in general
