About the Job

Main purpose of the job:

  • Directly manage the existing business in Egypt, and manage South Africa (through the existing Commercial Manager). Assess and Define market entry strategy for the rest of Africa
  • Responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities and sales pipelines in the African Region
  • Identify opportunities to accelerate business growth and execute them within the scope of Nestlé Health Science, identify and evaluate the potential partnerships in the white space geographies/channels/categories in the African Region. Roll out of existing business; develop a plan to capture the opportunities and execute accordingly.

Job Responsibilities:

Sales and Business Development

  • Market entry strategy, including: Geographical, business model, route to market, product/category/channel portfolio, distributor selection and management.
  • Prospect for potential new clients/ customers through progression of discovering needs, defining best value proposition, pricing, etc., and ultimately closing business.
  • Cold call as appropriate within the Health care market to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities and contacts. Meet potential clients by growing, maintaining, and leveraging existing networks and fostering those already created within the Company.
  • Identify potential clients, and the decision makers within the client organizations. Maintain excellent communication with senior management with regard to activities, pipeline of prospects, status and contacts.
  • Work with the management team to develop proposals that speaks to the client’s needs, concerns, and objectives.
  • Develop pricing model for the solutions & services.

Client Retention

  • Present new products and services and enhance existing relationships when appropriate.
  • Work with technical staff and other internal colleagues to meet customer needs including customer development.
Job Requirements

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in any relevant field
  • 7-10 years of experience in both Marketing and Sales in local and international environments
  • Strong strategic and operational experience in the healthcare industry, with a suitable degree.
  • Over a sustained period of time has demonstrated success in developing and executing business strategy and delivering financial results.
