Job Description

Prerequisite: Experience as a purchasing manager in the corrugated carton industry

  • Using appropriate strategies to purchase the organization's needs at reasonable prices.
  • Discovering suppliers, starting contracts, and establishing commercial and organizational partnerships.
  • Negotiating with sellers to secure favorable price and quality terms.
  • Approving the request for the necessary goods and services from the various departments.
  • Finalize order purchase and delivery details.
  • Examination and testing of existing contracts and confirmation of contract renewal dates.
  • Follow-up requirements and submit reports on purchases and requirements.
  • Collaborate with different departments to ensure clarity of requirements and budgets.
  • Building and developing the procurement department, developing procurement plans, and drawing up policies and procedures.
  • Provide the needs of each section of raw materials and set the appropriate budget.
  • Building and developing an annual plan for the needs of the necessary raw materials.
  • Constant search for new suppliers of raw materials used in manufacturing or operation.
  • Building and maintaining solid relationships with suppliers.
  • Make a periodic plan at the end of each year and update policies and procedures.
  • Building the various structures and models used in the Procurement Department.
  • Maintaining files of internal and external purchase orders, quotations and contracts.
  • Constant communication with the warehouse management regarding the shortage of stock, the extent of capacity of the stores, and the movement of the inventory turnover rate.
  • Preparing orders received from the various departments, sending them to approved suppliers, and following them up until they are received.
  • Review suppliers' offers and respond positively or negatively to them.
  • Periodically following changes in the prices of raw materials.
  • Contacting the entity requesting the goods and following up on the required materials in a timely and appropriate manner.

Job Requirements

Prerequisite: Experience as a purchasing manager in the corrugated carton industry

  • Bachelor's degree in commerce or business administration.
  • Good knowledge of dealing with suppliers.
  • Practical experience in the field of procurement.
  • Experience in data collection and analysis procedures.
  • High ability to plan.
  • High ability to communicate in English and Arabic.
  • High ability to conduct negotiation processes.
  • Good knowledge of the procedures for drafting contracts, commercial correspondence, and concluding commercial deals.
  • Proficiency in using MS Office programs and using the Internet.
  • Proficiency in dealing with the work team.
  • The ability to prepare reports periodically.
  • He has previous experience in the field of paper and corrugated board.
