Job Description
- Set, strategize, plan, and follow up the supply chain department strategy.
- Manage and strategize with departments their annual industrial material requirements planning.
- Continuously manage validation of alternative resources to attain the maximum value for spent money and the cost reduction initiatives.
- Manage local budget at CAPEX/OPEX levels in line with company targets.
- Develop and manage Materials Planning function for goods and materials needed for operations.
- Manage and supervise the production Planning process versus the required sales targets.
- Develop an appropriate pre-qualification strategy.
- Plan, manage, follow up, and implement logistical strategy, ensuring targets are met.
- Set and develop evaluation and short-listing strategy for potential vendors and suppliers.
- Create and manage integrated processes among Operations, planning, Purchasing, inventory, and fleet in cooperation with related managers and team members.
- Maintain very solid relationship with internal stakeholders.
- Develops and implements logistics plans inclusive of supplier contracts, routing guidelines, problem resolution and cost containment.
- Produce and manage set of supplier relationship KPI’s.
- Manage the local/ Global challenges with the suppliers.
- Design or implement plant warehousing strategies for production materials or finished products.
- Assist logistics process for the development of new products, inventory maintenance, manufacturing, shipment, and delivery, and returns on products.
- Identify process bottleneck and implement solutions in a timely manner.
- Plan, forecasts, and inventories, keeping an accurate record of the process and performance.
- Analyse inventories to determine how to increase inventory turns, reduce waste, or optimize customer service.
- Forecast supply and demand to prevent overstocking and running out-of-stock (OOS)
- Manage the warehouse inventory turnover and material availability.
- Manage the inventory team to monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Implement new technologies and stay alert to new trends and developments in the sector.
- Ensure and coordinate with all internal/external stakeholders’ unification of requirements and specs for cross functional projects.
- Ensure that all transactions are meeting Cables business principles.
Job Requirements
- Suitable university degree with a proven track record in the Pharmaceutical Industries for the last 15 years at least, managing departments of (Purchasing, Planning, Warehouse, Toll, Logistics)
