Senior Site Engineer (Architecture & Manufacturing)

The Senior Site Engineer will play a vital role in overseeing and managing on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. This role requires extensive architectural experience, particularly with wooden materials, and strong leadership skills to manage teams of technicians and workers

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and safety regulations.   
• Lead and coordinate teams of technicians, workers, and subcontractors, assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and providing guidance and support.
• Possess in-depth knowledge of wooden material construction and manufacturing processes.
• Proactively identify and resolve any on-site issues or challenges that may arise.
• Monitor project progress, track costs, and report regularly to the Project Manager/Construction Manager.
• Ensure quality control throughout the construction process, verifying that work is performed to the required standards.
• Manage material procurement and ensure timely delivery to the site.
• Maintain accurate site records, including daily reports, progress updates, and safety logs.
• Enforce safety regulations and ensure a safe working environment for all personnel on site.
• Collaborate effectively with architects, designers, and other project stakeholders.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of construction processes and procedures.
