Job Description
1. Product Strategy and Lifecycle Management
- Define product strategies that cater to both HCP endorsement and retail shelf appeal.
- Develop lifecycle management plans covering market entry, growth, and maturity stages.
- Analyze consumer behavior, professional feedback, and retail trends to identify growth opportunities and mitigate challenges.
- Align product strategies with company goals and cross-functional input.
2. Marketing Plan Design
- Design 360° marketing plans covering HCPs, pharmacies, modern trade, and retail shoppers, using STP (segmentation, targeting, positioning).
- Develop brand messaging, visual identities, and promotional concepts suitable for medical detailing and retail consumer engagement.
- Ensure regulatory-compliant content, particularly for claims made in HCP, pharmacy, and retail environments.
- Guide the marketing execution teams on in-store campaigns, pharmacy visibility, and digital promotions.
3. Training Development and Delivery
- Create engaging and scientifically accurate training for sales reps and promoters targeting both HCPs and retail/pharmacy staff.
- Deliver tailored programs covering product science, customer profiling, communication techniques, and selling strategies for various customer types.
- Evaluate the impact of training and continuously update based on retail dynamics and field feedback.
4. Market Research and Competitive Intelligence
- Conduct research on both clinical insights and consumer trends (skincare concerns, purchase drivers, shopping behaviors).
- Monitor retail competitor activities, HCP positioning, and pharmacy strategies to fine-tune brand approach.
- Translate insights into actionable strategies for positioning, pricing, and promotional planning.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Coordinate with regulatory, medical, and compliance teams to ensure messaging accuracy across all touchpoints (HCP, retail, and digital).
- Collaborate with trade marketing and visual merchandising teams to ensure product visibility and education at pharmacy and modern trade points.
- Work with sales teams to gather feedback from field visits (retail and clinics) and adapt strategies accordingly.
6. Data Analytics and Reporting
- Track and analyze product performance across different channels: HCP prescriptions, pharmacy sell-out, and retail movement.
- Use CRM and BI tools to assess ROI of campaigns, promotional mechanics, and training initiatives.
- Provide regular reports and business reviews to senior management with data-backed insights and recommendations.
7. Customer Focus and Engagement (HCPs, Retailers, and Pharmacies)
- Design targeted engagement strategies for dermatologists, pharmacists, and retail buyers.
- Provide field teams with customer-specific selling tools and content for different audiences (e.g., scientific detailing aids for HCPs, product education leaflets for retail staff).
- Gather insights from all customer segments to refine strategy and improve touchpoint effectiveness.
8. Compliance and Risk Management
- Ensure that all product communications (scientific and consumer-facing) comply with regulatory, industry, and company standards.
- Train the commercial team on compliant communication practices in clinical and non-clinical settings.
Work with the regulatory team to ensure accuracy of on-pack and in-store claims.
Job Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Medicine, Sciences, or a related field.
- MBA or advanced degree in Marketing, Business, or related discipline is a plus.
Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience in product management, marketing, or medical affairs in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
- Proven ability to design effective marketing strategies and impactful training programs.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong understanding of clinical data, regulatory requirements, and pharmaceutical product lifecycle management.
- Expertise in designing marketing strategies and tools tailored for HCP engagement.
- Excellent presentation and training delivery skills with the ability to simplify complex scientific information.
