Job Description
- Ensure applying preventive maintenance programs as planned and agreed with from Fleet Planning engineer (Checklist form)
- Cooperates with truck allocation and journey control teams for any incidents that may happen during the operation time to reach the truck as soon as possible.
- Controls corrective repairs cost for maintenance process while ensuring efficient and effective process completion.
- Works on minimizing repair downtime by accelerating repair process without compromising quality.
- Record Accidents and on road breakdowns information or any other inputs that may help in detection of accidents, common breakdowns and malfunctions root causes.
- Prepares root cause analysis reports for on road breakdown and accidents, recommending areas for improvement.
- Supervises maintenance workshops by overseeing technicians and monitoring their performance.
- Ensures that Spare parts are installed and functioning according to expected specifications and checks the truck's general condition.
- Evaluates the Subordinates team performance according to the Performance System Procedures.
- Ensure that each spare part received is matching required specification, report whenever there is any non-conformity.
- Issuing Purchasing Requests “PR” for first time using (Tools, Spare Parts of other needed supplies) after testing it technically
Job Requirements
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in relevant field.
- Extensive knowledge in M&R of Merced's Trucks ( MP1, MP2 , MP3 , MP4 ).
- Excellent command of English (written and spoken).
- Extensive working knowledge of fleet maintenance and repairs requirements.
- Supervisory skills.
- Ability to empathize and communicate with people from all background.
- Advanced Microsoft office proficiency.
- Oracle user & ERP experience is preferable.
