Job Description
- Scope the full extent of maintenance work needed to conduct the relevant repair / preventive / predictive / design-out activities on the organization’s Fleet and Workshop Machinery.
- Responsible for safety of everybody entering workshop premises
- Develop cost and time estimates of planned maintenance work
- Maintain Inventory of all necessary parts.
- Maintain all the relevant data into the System ERP To Extract relevant information from Operation team regarding required maintenance and convert in plan for execution.
- Responsible for keep-up and accuracy of Fleet maintenance history and job records database
- Responsible for keep-up and accuracy of technical information on processes, Fleet and equipment.
- Monitor daily cars serviceability to ensure smooth and safe Operation of company fleet services
- Manage Preventive Maintenance to identify and address potential issues, minimize downtime
- Analyze maintenance performance metrics, downtime, mean time between failures (MTBF), and mean time to repair (MTTR)
- Develop annual maintenance budgets based on historical data, projected expenses, and organizational goals.
- Ensure vehicles are maintained and well repaired to increase vehicle availability and efficiency.
- Managing Fleet in/out movement , Fleet diagnosis process. . .
- Determine the repairs needed and following up repairing process.
- Tracking the warranty periods and negotiate the good-well deals.
- Recommend strategies to minimize downtime of vehicles and provide cost effective outcome.
- Plan and Ensure that all vehicles doing the periodic maintenance on time.
- Achieve the trucks and CARS SOPs required KPI’s related to maintenance / serviceability .
- Planning, designing and implementing fleet maintenance studies, sets goals for section or department.
- Establish Fleet maintenance guidelines and make recommendations for improvements.
- Identify and track Fleet Department KPIs and initiatives for improvement.
- Develop and implement effective plans for Fleet standard procedures.
- Develop efficient driver schedules to maximize profits
- Lead and develop people through selecting, observing, training, motivating and evaluating staff performance to ensure meeting function objectives.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
- from 10 to 15 years of experience.
- Proven work experience as a Fleet Manager
- Analytical mindset and strong problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail to ensure records are kept as needed
- Exceptional interpersonal skills to work with various departments
