Job Description

We are seeking to hire a skilled and motivated Procurement Engineer to join our Engineering Department at IDG – Industrial Development Group,

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in engineering procurement, along with pricing, to effectively support our procurement processes and contribute to our sales development efforts.

 

Duties & Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with the company’s goals and objectives.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify procurement needs and specifications for various projects.

- Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities, pricing, and quality.

- Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with suppliers to ensure the best value for the company.

- Monitor supplier performance and manage relationships to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.

- Analyze procurement data and market trends to make informed purchasing decisions.

- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts related to procurement activities.

- Support the sales team by providing technical expertise and pricing information for proposals and bids.

- Prepare and maintain procurement documentation, including purchase orders, contracts, and supplier evaluations.

- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance procurement processes and efficiency.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering “Constructions' Majors”.
  • Minimum of 3-6 years of experience in procurement engineering or a similar role, preferably within the industrial/constructions sectors.
  • Strong understanding of procurement processes, contract negotiation, and supplier management.
  • Proficiency in pricing strategies and techniques.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proficient in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
