Job Description
- Lead and oversee the procurement engineering function, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and project requirements.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize cost, quality, and delivery timelines for materials and services.
- Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including vendor selection, negotiation, contract management, and performance evaluation.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineering teams, and other stakeholders to define procurement needs and technical specifications.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
- Analyze market trends and supplier performance to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Prepare and present procurement reports, forecasts, and risk assessments to senior management.
- Ensure adherence to ethical procurement practices and company policies throughout all procurement activities.
- Mentor and guide junior procurement engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
- Support audits and compliance reviews related to procurement processes and documentation.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement engineering or a similar role, with a maximum of 8 years preferred.
- Proven track record in managing procurement processes within facilities management, construction, or engineering sectors.
- Strong negotiation, contract management, and vendor relationship skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with relevant procurement software and ERP systems.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, office-based environment.
