Lead engineering teams across multiple disciplines (fire, safety, automation, electrical, mechanical).
Oversee the design and development of Fire & Gas (F&G) detection, suppression, and automation systems.
Ensure all designs comply with international codes and standards (e.g., NFPA, IEC, API).
Manage engineering deliverables from concept to detailed design and implementation phases.
Coordinate with project management, procurement, and construction teams to ensure engineering alignment.
Review and approve engineering calculations, drawings, datasheets, and technical documentation.
Drive innovation in automation and safety technologies to enhance system performance and reliability.
Supervise the preparation of technical bids, proposals, and tender packages.
Mentor and develop engineering staff; provide training and support to ensure team capability.
Identify and mitigate engineering risks throughout project lifecycle.
Conduct technical audits and support QA/QC initiatives.
Represent the engineering team in client meetings, technical reviews, and HAZOP/HAZID workshops.

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related field)
15+ years of engineering experience in the oil & gas sector, with proven leadership in Fire Protection and Automation systems
In-depth knowledge of fire and safety codes (NFPA, UL, FM) and automation standards (IEC, ISA, API)
Extensive experience in F&G detection systems, PLC/DCS integration, and control system design
Proven record of managing complex, multidisciplinary engineering teams and delivering successful projects
Familiarity with engineering software and tools used in fire, safety, and automation design
