Job Description
We are seeking a highly experienced MEP Manager to join our dynamic team at a leading real estate development company. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in overseeing all MEP (Mechanical, Electrical) aspects of our residential and commercial building projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and validate all MEP design works, including infrastructure and building systems starting from concept to IFC drawings .
- Propose and implement design modifications including calculations where necessary to enhance project efficiency and compliance.
- Recommend efficient systems and conduct value engineering to optimize costs and performance.
- Ensure full compliance with the design requirements of AUCD , the local codes, and international standards
- Coordinate with internal teams and external consultants & AUCD team to ensure quality and timely project delivery.
- Ensure all designs meet project requirements .
- Prepare and develop technical specifications and Bills of Quantities (BOQs).
- Create and maintain a comprehensive vendor list for all MEP packages.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical /Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 10-15 years of experience in MEP design and coordination (real estate sector preferred).
- In-depth knowledge of ACUD regulations and requirements is a must.
- Strong understanding of local authority regulations and Egyptian codes.
- Proficient in reviewing design drawings , specs, and tender documents.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
