Responsibilities:
E-commerce Strategy & Growth:
- Develop and execute comprehensive e-commerce strategies to achieve sales targets, improve conversion rates, and increase customer lifetime value.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer behavior to identify opportunities for growth and optimization.
- Implement and manage online promotions, merchandising strategies, and pricing tactics to maximize sales.
- Oversee website content, product listings, and user experience to ensure an engaging and user-friendly online store.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop and execute digital marketing campaigns (SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing) to drive traffic and conversions.
Logistics & Supply Chain Management (with a strong emphasis):
- Develop and optimize the e-commerce fulfillment strategy, including warehousing, order processing, packaging, and shipping.
- Manage relationships with third-party logistics (3PL) providers and negotiate favorable contracts and service level agreements (SLAs).
- Oversee inventory management processes to ensure optimal stock levels, minimize stockouts, and reduce holding costs.
- Implement and monitor efficient shipping and delivery processes to ensure timely and cost-effective order fulfillment, considering local and potentially international shipping requirements.
- Track and analyze key logistics KPIs (e.g., shipping costs, delivery times, order accuracy, return rates) to identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement strategies to minimize shipping errors, damages, and returns.
- Stay updated on local Egyptian logistics infrastructure, regulations, and best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any logistics-related issues that impact the customer experience.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 5 years of proven experience managing e-commerce operations, with a significant focus on logistics and supply chain within an online retail environment.
- Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms, digital marketing principles, and online sales strategies.
- In-depth knowledge of logistics and supply chain management principles, including warehousing, transportation, inventory management, and last-mile delivery, ideally within the Egyptian context.
- Experience managing relationships with 3PL providers and negotiating contracts.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, particularly in resolving logistical challenges.
