Job Description
- Business Development Strategy and Compliance:
- Develop and implement strategies to expand the organization's last mile delivery services.
- Identify new market opportunities, assess the competitive landscape, and establish partnerships or collaborations to enhance the delivery network.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Stay up-to-date on legal and regulatory changes affecting Last Mile delivery services.
- Generate new Logistics products\ services.
- Market Research and Analysis:
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify target customer segments, their needs, and preferences.
- Design tailored delivery solutions and optimized service offerings.
- Stay updated with the latest trends, technologies, and innovations in the last mile delivery industry.
- Evaluate and implement new strategies or technologies that can enhance operational efficiency, customer experience, and competitive advantage.
- Operational Efficiency:
- Work closely with the operations team to ensure smooth and efficient delivery processes. This includes optimizing delivery routes, implementing technology solutions like route planning software or tracking systems, and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and improve delivery performance.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with last mile delivery operations, such as security issues, regulatory compliance, or disruptions in the supply chain.
- Prepare and present regular reports on the performance of last mile delivery operations, including key metrics, achievements, challenges, and recommendations for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and internal control policies related to last mile delivery operations. Collaborate with the finance and legal teams to implement necessary procedures and controls.
- Setting operational, time delivery targets.
Job Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, Logistics, or any related field.
- Years of Experience:
- 7-10 years of experience in sales or business development.
- Experience in the last mile delivery industry is a plus.
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or a similar role, with a track record of achieving and exceeding targets.
- Certificates:
- Master of Business Administration (MBA).
- Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP).
- Certified Logistics and Distribution (CLTD).
