As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a skilled and proactive Packaging House Manager to uphold and advance our high standards packing efficiency and product quality.
The Opportunity
In this hands-on role, you’ll oversee the operations within the packaging facilities and ensure the efficient and high-quality packaging of fruits and vegetables. The role focuses on meeting local and international standards, enhancing productivity, reducing operational costs and waste, and ensuring compliance with quality and safety protocols.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and oversee all daily packaging operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and compliance with production schedules and customer requirements.
- Manage and develop the packing team, assigning roles, setting targets, and providing ongoing training on safety, equipment uses, and quality standards.
- Ensure adherence to food safety, quality control, and occupational health standards through routine inspections, incident investigations, and corrective actions.
- Coordinate across departments—including agricultural operations, commercial, logistics, and procurement—to align supply, packaging formats, and dispatch timelines.
- Monitor performance metrics and optimize operational efficiency by managing inventory, reducing waste, maintaining equipment, and implementing cost-effective improvements.
Job Requirements
What You’ll Bring
- 7–10 years of experience in packing operations, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role. • Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Engineering, Food Science, or related field; Master’s preferred.
- Hands-on knowledge of packing systems, quality standards, and safety compliance.
- Proven leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills in a production environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with effective communication in English.
