Job Description
- Overseeing the production process, drawing up a production schedule;
- Ensuring that the production is cost-effective;
- Making sure that products are produced on time with the highest quality;
- Drafting a timescale for the job or project to be completed
- Estimating costs and setting the quality standards
- Organize workflow to meet specifications and deadlines
- Monitor production to resolve issues
- Supervise and evaluate performance of production personnel (quality inspectors, workers etc.)
- Determine amount of necessary resources (workforce, raw materials etc.)
- Approve maintenance work, purchasing of equipment etc.
- Monitoring the production processes and adjusting schedules as needed
- Being responsible for the selection and maintenance of equipment
- Monitoring product standards and implementing quality-control
- Liaising among different departments, e.g. suppliers, managers
- Working with managers to implement the company's policies and goals
- Ensuring that health and safety guidelines are followed
- Supervising and motivating a team of workers.
- Involved in both the pre-production (planning) stage as well as the production (control and supervision)
- Reviewing the performance of subordinates and identifying training needs.
Job Requirements
- Graduated from the faculty of Engineer Mechanical or Civil department
- Having experience in steel fabrication and steel structure is a must
- High Leadership and Management skills
