Job Description

• Program Design and Development:
o Collaborate with program stakeholders, including faculty, staff, and external
partners, to develop and refine the LSP curriculum.
o Ensure that the program aligns with the university's mission, vision, and strategic
objectives.
o Design and implement a comprehensive evaluation framework to assess program effectiveness.
• Program Implementation:
o Oversee the day-to-day operations of the LSP students
o Coordinate program activities, workshops, and field trips.
o Manage program resources, including budget, facilities, and equipment.
• Participant Engagement and Support:
o Provide mentorship and guidance to LSP students.
o Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment.


• Partnerships and Collaborations:
o Develop and maintain partnerships with external organizations to enhance program offerings and resources.

• Reporting and Evaluation:
o Prepare regular progress reports and program evaluations.
o Analyze program data to identify areas for improvement and inform future program development.
• Administrative Tasks:
o Manage program documentation and records.
o Coordinate with university administration on administrative matters.
o Develop monthly, biannual, and annual reports

Job Requirements

Qualifications and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in education, sustainable development, or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in program management, preferably in the context of
youth development or sustainability initiatives.
• Strong understanding of sustainable development principles and practices.
• Proven ability to work effectively with young people and foster a positive learning environment.
• Excellent organizational, planning, and time management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in using relevant software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, project
management tools).


Secondary Responsibilities:
• Facilitate training under other programs at the ESD Center

Desired Skills:
• Experience in curriculum development and instructional design.
• Knowledge of evaluation methodologies and data analysis techniques.
• Experience in fundraising or grant writing.
• Familiarity with the Egyptian educational landscape and relevant government policies.

Additional Information:
• The position will require occasional travel within Egypt with the possibility of staying 1
night per week at SEKEM community
• The Program Management Specialist will report to the Director of the Education for
Sustainable Development Center.
