Job Description
- Develop and implement tourism strategies to increase visitor numbers and extend stays.
- Conduct market research to identify tourism trends and emerging markets.
- Oversee destination marketing campaigns across digital, print, and social media.
- Collaborate with PR agencies, travel influencers, and tourism boards to boost brand visibility.
- Build strong relationships with local businesses, hospitality providers, travel agencies, and government bodies.
- Organize tourism events, familiarization trips, and trade shows.
- Oversee daily operations of tourism facilities or visitor centers (if applicable).
- Ensure compliance with tourism, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Manage the tourism budget and track ROI of marketing initiatives.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly performance reports.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in domestic tourism
- Full knowledge of the domestic tourism market, including coastal and Nile cruise tourism
- Ability to lead a team effectively.
