Job Description

Salamtex  is a leading manufacturer of lace and technical fabrics with an international client base spanning over 20 countries.

Currently we are looking to hire a facility manager who will be responsible for keeping buildings properly maintained, clean and safe. His role combines management tasks such as supervising external contractors and more strategic responsibilities such as managing budgets and advising on long-term energy efficiency.

Typical duties include:

  • Supervising teams of staff including cleaning, maintenance and security.
  • Ensuring that basic facilities are well-maintained.
  • Managing maintenance and staffing budgets.
  • Ensuring that facilities meet government regulations, health and security standards and energy efficiency requirements and the Industrial Safety requirements
  • Overseeing building projects, maintenance  and renovations.
  • Helping businesses relocate.
  • Overseeing the vehicles and drivers.• 
  • Ensuring all the facility licenses are up-to-date and renewed on time. 
  • Manage the Personnel Affairs
  • Overseeing External Relations with all official entities (City Authority, Fire Department, Insurance, Labor Office, etc.)
  • Making sure of the the implementation of facility regulations
  • Development of the bylaws and implementation of internal regulations
  • Reviewing the implementation of manual procedures for all departments
  • Overseeing Warehouses
  • Reviewing the implementation of non-conformity procedures
  • Participation in investigations of company work reports
