Title: Open edX Platform Manager
Employment Type: Full-Time
Location: Cairo, Nasr City
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operation and maintenance of the Open edX platform, ensuring stability and high performance.
- Manage and update training content and courses via the platform’s administration interfaces.
- Generate regular reports on platform performance and analyze usage data for continuous improvement.
- Administer user accounts, permissions, and ensure data security and privacy compliance.
- Coordinate with technical teams to integrate the platform with external systems, such as payment gateways, load balancers, and single sign-on (SSO) solutions.
- Provide technical support and training to team members and end users to ensure effective use of the platform.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience managing Learning Management Systems (LMS), preferably with Open edX.
- Strong knowledge of Linux/Ubuntu environments and database systems (MySQL and MongoDB).
- Experience with system integrations, API configurations, and payment gateway implementations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
