Job Description

Vijua is a Cairo-based technology company specialized in interactive ebook technologies. Their award-winning platform is used by top corporates and organizations around the world.

We are seeking an entry-level highly-motivated person who enjoys helping people for a living. The candidate will fill the role of Technical Support Engineer for our growing software platform, and become responsible for troubleshooting and helping international customers through our helpdesk software.

Our platform targets a western audience mainly, so the candidate should be proficient in English language, but still comfortable typing in Arabic.

The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Understand our software platform to a certain extent (training will be provided)
  • Respond to support queries through our support portal
  • Be able to provide level 1 support and a little bit of level 2 support
  • Chat with customers using Live Chat and answer their questions
  • Direct advanced support queries to relevant departments
  • Perform miscellaneous duties as required.

Job Requirements

  • A university degree in any specialization.
  • Excellent English and Arabic writing skills.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Good Computer skills.
  • Bonus: HTML/CSS knowledge.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
