Job Summary:
The Low Current Pre-Sales Engineer is responsible for providing technical support and expertise to the sales team and customers during the pre-sales phase. This role involves understanding customer requirements, designing low current solutions, preparing technical proposals, and ensuring that solutions meet customer needs and industry standards. The Pre-Sales Engineer plays a crucial role in driving sales by leveraging technical knowledge to support sales efforts.

Key Responsibilities:
Technical Support:

  • Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and provide technical expertise.
  • Conduct site surveys and assessments to determine customer needs and project scope.
  • Design and propose low current solutions, including CCTV, access control, fire alarms, public address systems, and other low current systems.
     

Solution Design and Proposal:

  • Prepare detailed technical proposals, including system design, specifications, and cost estimates.
  • Develop and deliver technical presentations and demonstrations to customers.
  • Create and review technical drawings, schematics, and documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards.
     

Customer Engagement:

  • Act as the primary technical point of contact for customers during the pre-sales phase.
  • Address customer inquiries, provide technical guidance, and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and partners.
     

Collaboration and Coordination:

  • Work closely with the sales team to develop sales strategies and support business development efforts.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, including engineering, project management, and procurement, to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Provide technical training and support to sales team members.
     

Market and Product Knowledge:

  • Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and competitive products in the low current systems market.
  • Provide feedback to product development teams based on customer needs and market trends.
  • Continuously improve technical knowledge and skills through training and professional development.
     

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, proposals, and project specifications.
  • Prepare and submit regular reports on pre-sales activities, customer feedback, and market insights.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Pre-Sales Engineer or in a similar technical sales support role.
  • Strong technical knowledge of low current systems, including CCTV, access control, fire alarms, and
  • public address systems.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to understand and convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Proficiency in CAD software, CRM systems, and MS Office Suite.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional certifications related to low current systems (e.g., CCNA, BICSI, etc.).
