Job Description
- Develop, optimize, and maintain SMT (Surface Mount Technology) processes for the assembly of electronic components in lighting and electrical products.
- Monitor and analyze SMT production lines to ensure high-quality output and adherence to manufacturing standards.
- Troubleshoot process issues and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and improve yield.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, quality, and production to introduce new products and process improvements.
- Create and update process documentation, work instructions, and standard operating procedures for SMT operations.
- Conduct root cause analysis for defects and implement preventive measures to enhance product reliability.
- Train and support production staff on SMT equipment operation, process changes, and best practices.
- Evaluate and recommend new equipment, materials, and technologies to enhance SMT line efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements in all SMT processes.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma projects.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 1-3 years of hands-on experience in SMT process engineering or electronics manufacturing.
- Strong understanding of SMT assembly processes, equipment, and materials.
- Experience with process optimization, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
- Familiarity with quality control methodologies and manufacturing standards.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and assembly instructions.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Proficiency with MS Office and manufacturing software tools.
- Willingness to work onsite in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
