Job Description
- Manage and oversee the complete tendering process, including pre-qualification, bid strategy, technical and commercial submission, and post-submission clarifications.
- Analyze and interpret tender documents, specifications, and contractual requirements.
- Coordinate with estimation, technical, legal, planning, and procurement teams to compile accurate and competitive tender submissions.
- Ensure that tender submissions are professionally prepared and delivered within deadlines.
- Maintain a strong network of subcontractors, suppliers, and service providers.
- Attend tender meetings, site visits, and client briefings as needed.
- Stay updated on market trends, client requirements, and competitor strategies.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field (Master’s is a plus).
- Minimum 15 years of experience, with at least 5 years in a senior tendering or proposal management role within the construction industry.
- Advanced knowledge of tendering procedures, FIDIC contracts, and construction procurement.
- Professional certifications in tendering, procurement, or contract management are highly desirable (e.g., PMP, FIDIC, CIPS, Certified Tendering Professional).
- Excellent command of English (spoken and written).
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and experience with ERP or tendering software is a plus.
- Strong leadership, negotiation, communication, and time management skills.
