Achieve the company targets in terms of Cost saving (PPV), Payment facilities.
Ensure implementation of the company / purchasing policies (Purchasing policy / Procedure, Code of Conducts, conflict of interest, Separation of duties and Extr…..) within the DM & IDM team.
Execute actions to achieve, secure and exceed the budgeted savings.
Reviewing purchase orders and ensuring that they are in line with company policies and procedures.
Following up with vendors/ Contractors to ensure that orders are delivered on time and within budget parameters.
Coordinating with internal departments to ensure that orders are processed correctly.
Analyzing costs and recommending ways to reduce expenses by identifying opportunities for process improvement or technology enhancement.
Conducting market research to identify potential suppliers who can meet the company’s needs.
Day-to-day liaising and support of planning and other functions in relation to their respective tasks.

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering
Good working knowledge of purchasing strategies
Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and with business application software, purchasing and resource planning systems
