Job Description
Job Purpose: The Specialist purchasing is responsible for receiving all the purchase request in his responsible region and Prepare Purchase orders, through verifying required specifications, and price, along with obtaining recommendations from suppliers, in order to ensure delivering items in their best condition.Principal Accountabilities: Gather Purchasing requirements from the Requester, Transform Purchasing requisition into Purchase Orders in ERP, Follow up and issues handling for Purchase order approval process, Perform quotation process in due time and in a complete manner, Communicate with requesters to comply with technical specifications (Or equivalent), Provides input on supplier performance. Coordinate with regional team to solve issues with invoice, damaged / returned goods and ship date issues, Meet the goals and objectives set-up by procurement organization.Business Impact: Identify Issues that impacts operations in the request and escalate to department management and regional management as well for action planRequired Academic QualificationBachelor's degree Engineering / Business AdministrationYears Of Experience From 2 to 4 years’ experience in Procurement preferred within construction projects.Skills And Competencies Market knowledge supplier Performance Management Financial Analysis Goods and Services Technical Knowledge QA/ QC Process Good Negotiation Skills Able to use emails and communicate with regions Knowledge of procurement modules in ERP System Knowledge of English / Arabic
