Job Description

The Infinity Group is a London-based payroll service provider for the construction industry. We manage subcontractors' payroll, removing the risk of IR35 and employment law-related issues.

Our service handles invoicing, receives payments from construction companies or agencies, processes their payments, and deducts CIS tax and Umbrella Service.

This position requires working within the UK time zone (GMT).

There are two positions available:

Standard full-time working hours are from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM GMT.

Part-time evening work hours are from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM GMT.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for the company to grow, and we are looking to appoint a payroll administrator. Reporting to the Director, the role will be dealing with clients and workers. The role requires processing a weekly payroll from start to finish, ensuring all payroll data is kept up-to-date and accurate. To process a high-volume payroll and answer employee queries as they arise.

The role is currently working from home.

Job Spec – Main responsibilities

  • Ensuring weekly payroll and compliance are completed promptly
  • Input and management of payroll data
  • Providing information and answering workers' questions about payroll-related matters.
  • Preparing and issuing earnings statements.
  • Issuing paychecks and managing direct deposits
  • Maintaining worker records.
  • Reconciling and producing reports to communicate to management.
  • Managing new starters and leavers
  • Raising invoices

Job Requirements

Experience/ Requirements

  • Calculating finance figures
  • Bachelor's Degree level
  • Excellent English written & verbal communication skills
  • Strong payroll experience and a high-volume environment are essential.
  • Good Excel and reporting skills
  • Problem solver with a keen eye for detail and analytics
  • Excellent communicator
  • Extremely organised
