Job Title: Specifications Head – Middle East & AfricaLocation: DubaiSalary: AED 30,000 - 35,000Job Code: 302/002/938Industry: Furniture ManufacturingJob Brief:Our client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Specifications Head to drive the specification and promotion of premium furniture fittings across the Middle East and Africa region. This role is responsible for building strong relationships with architects, designers, contractors, and developers, and for influencing product selection at the design stage. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in specification sales, a deep understanding of the design and construction ecosystem, and the ability to lead a cross-regional team to convert specifications into sales.Job Responsibilities:Specify company products to architects, designers, client cost consultants, contractors, and developers across the assigned region. Promote product specifications through office visits, lunch & learn sessions, and technical presentations.Build and maintain strong relationships with architecture and design firms to enhance brand visibility and positioning.Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking and engagement with key decision-makers.Collaborate with sales teams to ensure specifications are effectively converted into sales.Deliver internal and external training on new product lines, technologies, and specification techniques.Provide technical guidance and product knowledge to clients and internal teams.Travel extensively (up to 50%) across assigned regions to support business development.Lead and manage a cross-border team to align efforts with regional strategy and drive results.Job Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Interior Design, or a related field (Master’s preferred).Minimum 10 years of experience in specification sales, preferably in hardware, furniture fittings, or building material industries.Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.Strong presentation skills and ability to influence key stakeholders.Knowledge of interior design, architectural processes, or hardware applications is an advantage.Proven leadership skills with experience managing cross-regional teams.Willingness to travel extensively across the Middle East and Africa.Fluency in English is a must; knowledge of Arabic or French is an added advantage.
