AL TARIQ leverages the latest advanced technologies in the field of optics and propulsion systems and has built up its engineering expertise through continuous innovation to deliver new products as well as production process improvements.Key Responsibilities: Manage the relevant department managers to establish work priorities and distribute work in accordance with the established priorities of operational staff; these functions include Production, Planning, Flight Test Support, Log Support, Prototype Workshop and IT/ERP Support; Conduct thorough regular reviews of manpower, facility and infrastructure requirements in order to meet the schedules from the various Product Lines; Responsible for Budget planning and implementing improvement through-out the Operations group Establish a Risk management programme to ensure timeous and pro-active resolution of risks; Implement corrective actions as necessary in order to achieve overall operational KPI’s; Liaise and network with client organizations, government authorities and relevant parties; Assist the CEO and other members of the senior management team in the negotiations with clients Develop and assist in implementation of Operations policies, procedures and work processes; Provide leadership and direction to the team ensuring that they motivated, capable and resourced to achieve performance objectives consistent with the company values in a safe and cost effective manner. Experience & Education Strong operational experience: ideally has worked in a senior management role for 10+ years with progressive experience leading to at least three years’ experience in operational and financial management in a defense development and production environment Bachelors in Engineering, MBL training an added advantage, PMP, Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing certification and Flight safety experience an added advantage Key Skills Leadership Customer and community focus Negotiation and influence Decision-making and problem-solving Planning and organizing Accountability, Attitudes and Ethics. #Altariq
