Job Title: Head of Sports (British School Experience)Location: Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (Private School)Position OverviewWe are seeking an accomplished and dedicated Head of Sports with experience in a British school setting to lead our sports department within a prestigious private school in the UAE. This role presents a unique opportunity for a seasoned sports professional to make a significant impact on the physical development and well-being of our students while fostering a culture of sportsmanship and teamwork.ResponsibilitiesSports Program Leadership: Develop and oversee a comprehensive sports program catering to students' diverse interests and abilities. Strategize and implement training sessions, competitions, and events across various sports disciplines. Ensure adherence to safety protocols and best practices in sports training and competition.Coaching And Development Recruit, train, and supervise a team of qualified coaches with experience. Provide mentorship and support to coaches to enhance their coaching skills and techniques. Identify talented athletes and provide opportunities for their development and advancement.Facilities Management Manage sports facilities and equipment, ensuring they are well-maintained and conducive to safe and effective training. Coordinate scheduling of sports facilities for practices, matches, and other events.Student Engagement And Participation Promote active participation in sports among students through engaging initiatives and programs. Provide guidance and support to students to help them discover and develop their sporting interests and talents. Foster a culture of sportsmanship, teamwork, and fair play among students.Community Engagement Collaborate with parents, alumni, and external stakeholders to promote sports and wellness initiatives within the school community. Organize community sports events and outreach programs to enhance the school's visibility and engagement.Administration And Reporting Maintain accurate records of sports programs, including participation, achievements, and budgets.
