Grant Thornton understands how important audited financial statements are to businesses, shareholders/owners, lenders, investors and other stakeholders. We work with some of the country’s most successful private and public companies to first understand their businesses and the risks they face, and then focus our efforts where they matter most. We work with clients to improve their overall financial reporting processes and to help them better understand their businesses. We also consider it our job to continually inform our clients about accounting, financial and regulatory developments that may affect their businesses.Job OverviewThis is the perfect opportunity for an existing Director to take on a leadership role, focusing on people and development, high quality, and developing our client base further. As an Audit Director, you will use your technical and leadership skills to plan and lead the completion of financial statement audits. You'll focus on the strategic growth of the team; business development and ensuring that all work allocated is carried out profitably, efficiently and to the highest level of quality.You’ll apply your experience to help engagement teams solve difficult business problems and review highly-technical matters and disclosures — all with the resources, environment and support to help you excel. You’ll build relationships with clients and your engagement teams, and use our world-class audit technology to work collaboratively, solve smarter, and have meaningful business conversations.
