Job Description
The national UN Volunteer will work under the direct supervision of the Administrative Associate and contribute to the office’s operational effectiveness by
Supporting administrative functions across procurement, HR, finance, and logistics
Coordinating visas, licenses, security matters, and staff entitlements
Managing calendars, meetings, travel arrangements, and correspondence
Organizing meetings, workshops, and events, including logistics and documentation
Assisting in budget preparation, petty cash bookkeeping, and office inventory management
Providing basic ICT support and maintaining records and databases
Supporting recruitment, onboarding, and personnel recordkeeping
Promoting communication and collaboration among stakeholders, including UN agencies and national counterparts
Engaging in UNV activities, including knowledge sharing and volunteerism promotion
Profile Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Business, Finance, HR, or related fields (Master’s degree may substitute for experience)
Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience
Proficient in MS Office and office technology; knowledge of database management is an asset
Working knowledge of English
Strong interpersonal, drafting, and organizational skills
Ability to work effectively in multicultural, fast-paced, and collaborative environments with minimal supervision
National UN Specialist Volunteers in Saudi Arabia are entitled to: - Monthly Volunteer Living Allowance (VLA) in the amount of SAR 14,120.66 - Entry Lumpsum USD 400, - Annual and learning leaves; - Free Medical and life insurance; and - Free access to different learning platforms.
