You will own and implement the local product/proposition strategy; driving improved performance and growth through the development of new/amended local products, and effective management of the local product portfolioHow you’ll help us make health happen:Accountable for defining, developing and implementing the local product and proposition strategy in a specific region, over the short, medium and longer-termBe the leader for the local product portfolio throughout the business, working with key teams and stakeholders to drive improved performance and growth across a range of key commercial and customer metricsDevelopment of new or amended products to meet identified needs amongst defined target customers in a specific region, delivering commercial growthWork with key stakeholders to define and develop the local customer proposition; ensuring it reflects our key strengths and USPs relative to the marketLead regular analysis, reporting and reviews of local product performance, to ensure they remain competitive, fit for purpose, and meet customer needs; continuously identifying areas for improvement, and working collaboratively to deliver any recommended changesIdentify opportunities to rationalise and/or migrate local products, to create increased customer simplification and improved commercial performanceWork with relevant local teams to identify new and emerging regulation that impacts the product portfolio; collaborating with key stakeholders to deliver any necessary changes; ensuring that our local products remain compliantKey Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:Business experience, which should include managing a varied product portfolio in a range of global markets, to deliver improved commercial performance and customer metricsExperience of developing product strategy and setting overall business direction; and then leading virtual teams to successful multi-channel delivery and implementation of that strategyStrong interpersonal skills with a challenging and persuasive manner, to win and maintain the respect of colleagues across the business at all levelsClear communication and presentation skills, experienced at using storytelling to influence, and gain support from, key stakeholders across the businessStrong analytical, numerical and commercial skillsSpecific experience in healthcare, access, or value-add productsAwareness and understanding of PMI/IPMI products and the PMI/IPMI marketExperience of operating in a regulated market, or in broader consumer Financial ServicesWhy Bupa?We’re a health insurer and provider.
