Job Description
Business Analyst (BA) – Key Responsibilities Requirement Elicitation & Analysis Engage with stakeholders, business users, and SMEs to gather requirements.
Conduct workshops, interviews, and walkthroughs to capture needs.
Translate business objectives into clear, structured requirements.
Document functional and non-functional requirements.
Documentation & Sign-off Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRD) and Functional Specification Documents (FSD).
Document business rules, process flows, and use cases.
Maintain traceability matrix to ensure all requirements are covered.
Get stakeholder review and approval on finalized documents.
Process Mapping & Gap Analysis Analyze current (AS-IS) processes and propose future (TO-BE) processes.
Identify gaps, risks, dependencies, and opportunities for improvement.
Support prioritization of requirements based on business value.
Collaboration with Technical Teams Work with developers, architects, and data engineers to clarify requirements.
Ensure business requirements are translated into technical specifications correctly.
Participate in design discussions and solution validation.
Testing & UAT Support Prepare test scenarios and acceptance criteria aligned with requirements.
Validate dashboards/reports/applications against requirements.
Support business users during UAT, capture feedback, and track defect resolution.
Stakeholder Communication Act as the bridge between business and technical teams.
Provide status updates to stakeholders and ensure transparency.
Manage changes to requirements through a structured Change Request (CR) process.
Training & Handover Create user manuals or quick reference guides.
Conduct training sessions and knowledge transfers for end-users.
Ensure smooth adoption of the solution by business teams.
