Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Graphic Designer to join our dynamic creative team. In this role, you will be instrumental in bringing our brand to life across various channels. You will support senior team members on larger campaigns while taking ownership of key production tasks. Key Responsibilities:
Production & Adaptation: Execute a high volume of design tasks including adaptations, resizing, and versioning of assets for social media, print materials, digital ads, and email campaigns.
Campaign Support: Provide direct support to senior designers and art directors in the development and execution of visual concepts for marketing campaigns.
Brand Guardianship: Meticulously follow established brand guidelines to ensure visual consistency across all touchpoints.
Creative Collaboration: Actively participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas for campaigns, layouts, and visual content.
File Preparation: Prepare and package final print and digital files, ensuring correct sizing, color modes (CMYK/RGB), resolution, and bleeding.
Asset Creation: Work on a variety of tasks including photo editing and retouching, creating basic animations/GIFs, and designing visual layouts for presentations and documents.
Receptive Learning: Proactively learn and apply constructive feedback from senior team members to rapidly improve technical and creative skills.
Project Management: Manage your time effectively to ensure all tasks and projects are delivered accurately and on schedule.
Job Requirements
- Must-Have Skills & Qualifications:
Education: A degree, diploma, or certificate in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field.
Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing a solid understanding of design fundamentals (typography, layout, color theory, and composition).
Software Proficiency: Demonstrated expertise in the Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
Production Ready: Proven experience in pre-press and file preparation for both print and digital outputs.
Adaptability: Ability to quickly adapt designs for multiple formats and platforms (e.g., from a web banner to an Instagram story).
Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail and a commitment to producing pixel-perfect, error-free work.
Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Time Management: Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Bonus Skills (Nice-to-Have):
Basic experience with motion graphics or video editing software (e.g., Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro).
Experience with UI/UX design principles or prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD).
Knowledge of HTML/CSS for basic web design adjustments.
Illustration skills or a unique artistic style.
Previous experience in an agency or in-house creative team environment.
Familiarity with project management software (e.g.,Notion, Clickup).
