Job Description

  • Participates in implementing the organization's procurement strategy within the assigned scope. 
  • Develops requests for proposals and detailed tenders, negotiate and prepare contracts, and enforce full implementation of compliance & business ethics requirements throughout the entire purchasing process.
  • Ensures operational efficiency, minimizes errors, improves response times, and maximizes the impact of procurement initiatives. Reviews and validates all goods and services purchase requisitions, ensuring full compliance with procurement procedures.
  • Negotiates contracts to secure the best possible terms for the company. 
  • Monitors market trends and identifies cost-saving opportunities. Actively seeks ways to reduce costs and improve efficiency in the procurement process. 
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams and works closely with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and achieve shared goals. 
  • Prepare reports and presentations on procurement activities and trends.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date procurement records.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for the procurement function.
  • Develop and analyze procurement data to measure performance and identify areas for improvement
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams and works closely with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and achieve shared goals.
  • Participant in vendor master data process  within the assigned scope ensuring accuracy and quality.
  • Stays compliant with company policies and regulations. This includes ensuring all purchases adhere to legal and ethical standards, procurement policies, procedures, controls, and relevant TE standards.
  • Participates in equipment and spare parts import logistics and compliance with regulations (TEME & OPSBA).
  • Implements a sustainable procurement strategy that integrates environmental and social responsibility.
  • Serves as a multitasking  buyer and performs other duties as assigned.
  • Maintains full compliance with all policies, procedures, controls, regulations, Total's established strategies, and local laws.
  • Adheres to HSE policies, standards, and requirements, ensuring compliance with all key HSSE aspects of procurement.
  • Implements audit action plans within the assigned scope.

Job Requirements

  • University degree 
  • 2+ years of experience in Purchasing or similar role, with a proven track record of success in sourcing, cost optimization, and contract negotiation. 
  • Demonstrates analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and implement the best solutions.
  •  Strong communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and embraces continuous learning.
  • Is proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and relevant procurement software (desired).
