Job Description
- Client Relationship Management:
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, serving as their primary point of contact.
- Remaining available and promptly addressing client requests.
- Engage and consult in any discussion initiated by the client, adding valuable insights.
- Problem-solving with client conflict situations.
- Serving as a protective measure for the account, ensuring that all communications and plans adhere to the client's requirements and expectations while maintaining a high standard of quality.
- Strategic Advisor & Consultant:
- Develop PR plans with objectives, strategies, and tactics that are realistic and follow each client's format.
- Create action plans with clear timelines and assign team members for each task.
- Stay updated by following industry leaders and influential accounts on social media.
- Expand industry knowledge by actively reading about the client's sector and keeping an eye on their competitors.
- Expand the scope of client work by proposing innovative ideas and introducing fresh formats that set them apart from competitors.
- Campaign Execution and Management
- Manage other teams' time and delegate daily tasks to ensure effective execution.
- Ensuring that every client campaign adheres to the overarching narratives set by the client.
- Effectively manage the resources allocated to the client account(s) as per the Scope of Work, in close alignment with Heads and other PCCs sharing those resources
- Collaborating with internal teams, such as monitoring and media relations to ensure consistent alignment and update them on workflow.
- Manage & oversee all the communications with media & influencers to ensure seamless project execution & client work.
- Manage budget allocation and monitor expenses across all client projects.
- Understand PI process & payment policies in order to engage with suppliers effectively.
- Manage communications with suppliers to ensure seamless project execution & client work
- Content Creation and Editing:
- Draft press content (releases and announcements)
- Develop influencer & social media content e.g. drafting captions & briefs
- Co-create content with media partners
- Revising EN/AR content before sharing the client, to ensure that all the client terminologies are correct.
- Revise all the written deliverables/content/reports by other team members before sharing them with the client.
- Ensure the team is using AI tools to create digital focused content
- Write clear and effective supplier briefs using the PI’s processes and templates
- Media Relations & Influencers
- Follow/subscribe to key target media outlets daily.
- Build a solid understanding of the media landscape working closely with Media Relations.
- Understanding each client's target media list and how they work to be able to consult with right approach
- Support the media relations team in any outreach happening to help understand the media.
- Engage in any media relations-focused activity, even if its not related to the client directly.
- Research and suggest new media & influencers contacts
- Onsite engagement with media during events/ press-conferences
- Follow, monitor & keenly observe social campaigns to identify new influencers and creative ideas
- Learn to develop and pitch creative ideas to influencers, with an understanding of the feasibility of execution to client brief and budgets
- Source different influencers, get their quotations, negotiate and contract.
- Reporting & Documentation
- The reports need to mirror the client's objectives and strategy, conveying more than just numbers and outcomes.
- The reports should be written strategically and highlighting the work efforts and process.
- Write meeting minutes / contact reports following encounters with clients/ suppliers
- Thoroughly read and review all media monitoring & influencer reports to ensure accuracy and learn about client industry
- Develop monthly social media & activity reports when applicable
- Business Development
- Participate in developing proposals for new business accounts
- Adoption of Digital Tools and Technologies
- Adopt new digital tools or technologies to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and enhance campaign performance. (Video content/infographics/visuals..etc)
- Crisis Communication and Reputation Management:
- Develop and implement crisis communication plans to effectively manage reputation risks when needed for clients.
- Provide timely and accurate information to stakeholders during crisis situations.
- Monitor and respond to negative publicity and online criticism.
Job Requirements
- Graduate with relevant degree in the arts, media or public relations
- Strong interpersonal, writing and project management skills, a creative flair and deep knowledge of the media.
- Work experience in related fields including journalism or consulting offers transferable skills to a career in PR
- Agency experience is preferred
- Evidence of copywriting, PROJECT MANAGEMENT, Strategic planning and client liaison skills
- Strong communication with excellent presentation and data analysis capabilities
- A passion for creating stories, building narratives and achieving strategic impact.
- Commercially aware and business savvy
- Good industry knowledge and contacts experience in building influential networks
- Outstanding organization with an ability to manage multiple projects and portfolios
