Job Summary:
The Payroll & Personnel Lead is responsible for overseeing and managing the payroll process and personnel administration. This role ensures compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements while fostering a positive work environment and supporting employee needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Payroll Management:
- Oversee the payroll processing cycle, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Manage payroll-related inquiries and resolve issues efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and labor laws.
Personnel Administration:
- Maintain employee records and ensure data integrity in HRIS.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes.
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare and analyze payroll reports for management.
- Monitor payroll budgets and provide insights for cost management.
Compliance and Audit:
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
- Prepare for and support internal and external audits related to payroll and personnel.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in payroll and personnel management.
- Strong knowledge of payroll software and HRIS systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Preferred Skills:
- Professional certification in payroll (e.g., CPP) or HR (e.g., SHRM-CP).
- Experience with labor law compliance and reporting.
- Proficiency in payroll system.
