Job Description
- Process and manage payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Maintain and update personnel records, including new hires, terminations, promotions, and changes in employment status.
- Coordinate with HR and finance departments to ensure timely and accurate salary disbursements.
- Prepare and submit payroll reports, tax filings, and other statutory documentation as required.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, benefits, and personnel policies in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist in the administration of employee benefits, leave management, and attendance tracking.
- Ensure confidentiality and security of all payroll and personnel data.
- Support audits and internal reviews by providing necessary payroll and personnel documentation.
- Stay updated on changes in payroll legislation and best practices to ensure ongoing compliance.
- Contribute to process improvements and the implementation of new payroll and HR systems.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
- 1-6 years of experience in payroll processing and personnel administration.
- Strong knowledge of payroll systems, labor laws, and statutory compliance.
- Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy in data entry and record keeping.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, and HRIS/payroll software.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and proactive approach to challenges.
- Experience working in an office-based environment.
