Job Description
- Responsible for all IT related activities on-site that related to End users as 1st line of support by providing technical assistance over the phone or email.
- Install and configuring windows to prepare laptop’s to be delivered to company employees and to have Experience in Windows OS (10 , 11 ) and windows Server.
- Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, printers, and scanners.
- Responsible Maintenance, Troubleshooting of Desktop Pc’s & Laptops, servers HP and dell repairing and replacing equipment as necessary.
- Responsible for computer security from viruses, malware by making sure that anti-virus installed & updated to latest updates.
- Infrastructure troubleshooting, solving all problems and raised issues via ticketing system within SLA preferred to have experience (ManageEngine ticketing system) .
- Responsible Escalate to vendor and follow up for open cases till being resolved.
- Responsible for stock management/updates to effectively manage assets preferred to have experience in (ManageEngine asset system)
- Responsible for Data center support RACK servers, cabling, PDUs, UPS and provide support for different IT teams as needed.
- Provide support for cloud services O365 , MS Teams , AzureAD connect, SharePoint.
- Provide support for Exchange Environment and for senior levels engineers.
- Provide on-site support for VOIP system, IP telephony.
- Provide on-site support for network APs , Switches , Firewalls requested by higher senior levels engineers.
- Monitoring site infrastructure systems hardware/software to ensure that systems are up and running as well patched with latest security updates.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing impact of issues.
- Ensuring security and efficiency of IT infrastructure.
- Prepare activity reports as needed
Job Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Management Information Systems (MIS).
- Experience: 2–3 years in a similar role, preferably in a large production environment.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Active Directory (AD) environment, DNS, DHCP, and File Services.
- Basic knowledge of VMware ESXi environment.
- Basic knowledge of backup and restore software.
- Basic knowledge of firewalls.
- Certifications (Preferred):
- MCSA, MCSE
- CCNA + MCSE
- ITIL certification or knowledge
- Soft Skills:
- Dedication and strong sense of ownership.
- Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate effectively across different teams.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Very good command of English.
