Role Overview
The Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for planning, executing, and managing marketing and communications strategies to increase brand awareness, grow our membership base, attract sponsors, and engage our community. This role requires a blend of creativity, strong organisational skills, and a passion for women’s and girls’ football.

Key Responsibilities
Content Creation & Social Media
Plan, create, and publish engaging content across our social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X, YouTube).
Capture photos and videos at matches, training sessions, and events to showcase the club’s activities and culture.
Develop creative campaigns to highlight players, coaches, and club achievements.
Marketing & Branding
Ensure brand consistency in all marketing materials, from graphics to written copy.
Create promotional materials (posters, flyers, videos) for events, trials, and community programmes.
Design and execute email newsletters to update members, parents, and partners.
Community Engagement & Growth
Support grassroots recruitment campaigns for players, coaches, and volunteers.
Engage with local media, schools, and community organisations to promote the club.
Coordinate marketing for special events such as tournaments, open days, and fundraising activities.
Sponsorship & Partnerships
Assist in developing sponsorship proposals and marketing packages.
Help maintain relationships with current sponsors and partners by delivering agreed promotional benefits.

Requirements
Essential Skills & Experience
Strong understanding of social media platforms and trends (especially Instagram Reels & TikTok).
Experience in creating content using tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects at once.
Passion for women’s and girls’ football or grassroots sport.
Desirable Skills & Experience
Experience in sports marketing, events, or community engagement.
Photography and videography skills.
Knowledge of SEO and website management (e.g., WordPress, Squarespace).
