Job Description

Job Purpose:

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Amadeus and Galileo booking systems, along with a passion for providing exceptional service to our clients. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting customers with flight bookings, ticketing, and resolving any travel-related

 

Role Responsibilities

  • Assist customers with flight reservations, changes, and cancellations using Amadeus and Galileo systems.
  • Utilize Amadeus GDS for flight ticket reservations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in booking processes.
  • Engage with clients to understand their travel needs and preferences, providing tailored solutions that enhance their experience in Egypt.
  • Develop, quote, and manage comprehensive inbound tour packages, coordinating with hotels, suppliers, and tour guides to create attractive offerings.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with hotels, local suppliers, and tour guides to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Identify and promote additional services or upgrades to clients, such as travel insurance, guided tours, or special experiences, to enhance their travel plans.
  • Provide information on travel itineraries, fares, and policies., Issue and exchange airline tickets and other travel documents.
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues related to bookings and travel plans.
  • Maintain accurate records of transactions and customer interactions.
  • Stay updated on airline policies, fare structures, and travel regulations.

Job Requirements

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Travel and Tourism, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
  • Relevant certifications in Amadeus (Basic and Advanced) are a plus.

Experience:

  • Proven experience of 3 years in a ticketing or travel agent role, preferably in the flight counter.
  • Hands-on experience with Amadeus (Basic and Advanced) and Galileo booking systems is a must

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of airline ticketing rules, fare structures, and travel regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a passion for enhancing client experiences.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
