Engage and validate stakeholder business needs/requirements, conduct sourcing activities in accordance with established policies and procedures.
Manage an individual category (Local Suppliers) to deliver savings through negotiations.
Create sourcing plans and execute of sourcing activities including planning and negotiation of contracts and tender management.
Build and maintain relationships with both local suppliers and internal stakeholders (Quality, Production, Sales and Marketing, Finance) to ensure successful outcomes.
Update ERP system with supplier information – price, lead time, etc.
Conduct Logistics activities for all procured goods and services in accordance with policies and procedures..
Work closely with the Supply Chain Planning Specialist, Quality Assurance Manager to ensure locally sourced products and services are meeting requirements.
Researching and identifying prospective suppliers.
Compare and evaluate offers from suppliers.
Negotiate contract terms of agreement and pricing.
Track orders and ensure timely delivery.
Monitor stock levels and verify purchase requisitions.
Maintain professional relationships with all key suppliers.
Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage.
Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information, and invoices
