Job Description
- Engage and validate stakeholder business needs/requirements, conduct sourcing activities in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Manage an individual category (Local Suppliers) to deliver savings through negotiations.
- Create sourcing plans and execute of sourcing activities including planning and negotiation of contracts and tender management.
- Build and maintain relationships with both local suppliers and internal stakeholders (Quality, Production, Sales and Marketing, Finance) to ensure successful outcomes.
- Update ERP system with supplier information – price, lead time, etc.
- Conduct Logistics activities for all procured goods and services in accordance with policies and procedures..
- Work closely with the Supply Chain Planning Specialist, Quality Assurance Manager to ensure locally sourced products and services are meeting requirements.
- Researching and identifying prospective suppliers.
- Compare and evaluate offers from suppliers.
- Negotiate contract terms of agreement and pricing.
- Track orders and ensure timely delivery.
- Monitor stock levels and verify purchase requisitions.
- Maintain professional relationships with all key suppliers.
- Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage.
- Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information, and invoices
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Commerce Accounting or equivalent
- From 3 to 5 years’ experience, preferably in a similar Position
- Manufacturing background, home appliances is an assist
- High attention to detail and excellent analytical skills
- MS Office and advanced excel
- Strong ERP Knowledge
- Good command of English
