Senior Purchasing Specialist

The Senior Purchasing Specialist is responsible for executing and optimizing the procurement of goods and materials necessary for business operations. This role focuses on sourcing, cost negotiation, supplier management, and ensuring continuity of supply in alignment with quality and delivery standards. The role supports both operational purchasing and strategic procurement initiatives.

• Execute purchase orders for raw materials, packaging, services, and operational supplies
• Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with new and existing suppliers to secure the best value in terms of cost, quality, and delivery
• Analyze demand forecasts and stock levels to plan timely procurement activities
• Ensure all purchases comply with company policies, specifications, and required quality standards
• Coordinate with the warehouse and inventory control teams to manage inbound deliveries and resolve discrepancies
• Maintain detailed records of procurement activity, supplier agreements, and cost history
• Support supplier audits and implement corrective actions when needed
• Monitor market trends, material costs, and risks to advise on cost-saving initiatives
• Work with the finance team on payment schedules, invoice matching, and reconciliation
• Participate in the development of procurement strategies and process improvements
