Job Description
- Manage the end-to-end purchasing process for materials, equipment, and services in alignment with project requirements and company policies.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts to secure optimal terms and pricing.
- Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, delivery, and compliance, implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other internal stakeholders to forecast purchasing needs and ensure timely delivery.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse teams to optimize stock and minimize shortages or excess.
- Prepare and process purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and adherence to budgetary constraints.
- Conduct market research to identify new suppliers, products, and cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to procurement activities.
- Resolve any issues related to delivery, quality, or invoicing in a timely and professional manner.
- Generate regular reports on purchasing activities, cost analysis, and supplier performance for management review.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 3 to 8 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably within the real estate or facility management or construction industry.
- Proven ability to negotiate contracts and manage supplier relationships effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, office-based environment.
- Solid understanding of procurement best practices and market trends.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
