Source and evaluate suppliers to ensure the best quality, price, and delivery terms for raw materials and packaging.
Negotiate contracts and terms with vendors to secure advantageous agreements.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with production and warehouse teams to maintain optimal stock.
Process purchase orders accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with company policies.
Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
Maintain and update supplier databases, records, and documentation.
Resolve any issues related to delivery, quality, or pricing discrepancies with suppliers.
Collaborate with internal departments to understand material requirements and forecast future needs.
Conduct regular market research to stay informed about industry trends and new suppliers.
Ensure adherence to all relevant quality, safety, and sustainability standards in procurement activities.

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
2-3 years of proven experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain roles, preferably in the food or FMCG industry.
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and procurement software.
Ability to analyze data and make informed purchasing decisions.
Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in processing orders.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Knowledge of local and international supplier markets.
Familiarity with quality standards such as ISO 22000, ISO 9001, and HACCP is an advantage.
