Industry: Plastic Furniture Décor Accessories
We are a leading company in the furniture décor plastic industry, currently seeking a Local Purchase Specialist to join our team.
- Review invoices for accuracy of billing, payment dates and any comments or notes attached to the invoice
- Resolve all routine orders issues, including determining appropriate charges for an item or service requesting additional detail on the item being purchased, reviewing a purchase order to ensure that an item has been received from a vendor.
- Respond to requests from vendors regarding invoicing and payment, and requesting delivery of company products/services
- Assess the need for purchases (such as equipment/spare parts, different supplies)
- Maintain vendor file by providing information, such as payment policies for each vendor, list of vendors with contact information and other information, such as products or services provided
Job Requirements
Requirements:
- 1–3 years of experience in local purchasing.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Good command of English (written & spoken).
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
